Introduction
LYNX Technik has developed a complete portfolio of SD/HD multi-format modules. These new modules are designed not to replace - but expand and enhance the current range of LYNX Card Modules and MiniModules.
All new modules are 100% backward compatible with all delivered LYNX racks, accessories and control system. Unlike competitive solutions it’s possible to mix and match any combination of LYNX modules in a single rack frame.

Multi-Format
All the Next Generation Modules from LYNX are multi-format meaning they can work in SDTV and HDTV environments. The modules are intelligent and will auto detect the connected video format and video standard and automatically configure itself for operation in this mode.
Technology
LYNX develops its own proprietary FPGA cores for all aspects of HDTV operation. We do not use “off the shelf” chipsets or license other manufacturer’s technology. This gives us far better control and flexibility over the features, operation and size of our modules. LYNX modules are the most compact and powerful multi-format solutions available on the market today.
All LYNX Multi-format modules are new designs (most released in late 2006 and throughout 2007) and leverage the very latest digital signal processing technology. We have no older “legacy” HD technology we are trying to adapt into new emerging HDTV market needs.
